I have been taking pictures from the start though and will now try show the progress and write shortly about the type of decisions we had to make, questions we had to answer and problems we had to solve.

These pictures actually only show half the space, so there is the equal amount of open space behind the camera, while the wall will be put up pretty much along the right edge of photo no2.

I should also add that the skylight was recently put in for the purpose of this bathroom. It’s a Velux electric centre swivel type and it’s worth saying that it was a rather pricy affair. The good part was that it was much more quickly done than I even had hoped. Once the roofer guy was on the roof with the window (which nearly costed his life, as he was a bit of a cowboy), it only took a few hours to get the window in place. Never mind that it leaked straight in, which another builder had to fix at a later stage. Needless to say I wasn’t very happy with the guy who did this for us, but he did get the window in place and the mechanics does work, so taking into account that it could have been done even faster and better by a better worker it is still pretty fantastic that one can just pop in a skylight in half a day. And after all there is nothing like natural light, so well in place we’re very happy with it.

The next issue to deal with was the floor, how to keep it sealed and what to do with the walls and ceiling, and how many people needed to be hired to get it all done.

Every day we find more good material hidden in the 100 hours of tape, some of which is making it easier to tell the story, but most of which is actually making it more difficult. I’m happy to see though that the story is emerging and new material is automatically finding it’s place now or binned before even making into an edit.

I have now started dabbling with the various graphics we need to tell certain bits of the story.

This is a place holder model for the car that we travel around with.

pretty much just understood how this wp theme works and how to set it up… i’m getting more excited by the minute!
